I posted this winter scene shot at the Geese Pond which shows a nice dusting of snow. Yesterday, January 26, 2015, the forecast called for a major snow event of high winds, drifts, and 18 inches of snow. They got it wrong - we only got 3 inches. Whew!!!! What a Relief!!!

That would be a beautiful scene even without the snow. Super clarity throughout the shot. We got less than a dusting here.

This is a beautiful image and it is so clear throughout Laura. Glad you missed the bullet. It was looking bad on the weather report.

A pretty snow dusted landscape, Laura. I'm glad you missed the big one as I read that grocery stores were running out of staples and lines for gas were several city blocks long.

A lovely snow covered landscape Laura. Winter scenes always look pretty when the sun shines. I like the shadows on the snow as well.

Although the winter isn't over yet, you're lucky up till now Laura, so giving you a good opportunity for a photo shoot.
By viewing this image, I like to say that you have succeeded this in an excellent way.

Perfect 'Winter Wonderland' shot! Very well done!

I notice they are now naming snow storms (Juno), Laura.
I am glad Juno didn't bury the geese or your fine landscape.
Good winter scene.

This is a winter scene I'm more comfortable with, just a shallow sprinkling of snow, fortunately Bristol hasn't had any yet. (o:
Drawing attention to the leafed conifers was a sensible decision Laura, a pretty scene and fine photograph.

Well three inches is better than nothing. :) Said no one ever.

Good lighting and shadows in the photo. A nice capture of the park and pond with good depth in the scene.
