This year I planted Tropical Milkweed plants in my garden in order to attract/feed monarch butterflies. Only one came to visit - this is her image - She did lay a number of eggs on the underside of the leaves which developed into the caterpillar stage. I was able to retrieve one caterpillar. I fed it milkweed leaves, it at voraciously and went into chrysalis stage on July 21. This morning a beautiful female monarch butterfly emerged - my husband and I released it into its new world. She is part of the last generation that will fly on to Mexico!!!!!!!! Kindly Enjoy!!!!!!!

Laura, I don't know what to say first: a splendid image accompanied by a very interesting narrative or a very interesting narrative accompanied by a splendid image, 😜 !
Doesn't matter that much. Fact is that you've have provided us with a 'wowser'. Reason for me to S+F it instantly.
Thanks for that, 👍 !
