Just shot this Tropical Milkweed seed pod in my garden this afternoon just as it was beginning to open - had to move quickly as the seeds are whisked away by the slightest breeze - I really like how the seeds are arranged inside the pod in a diagonal configuration - I have collected the seeds and am going to try and start new plants in the spring -Kindly Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

A fantastic close up laura!!! As a kid in northern Utah theses were in abundance and we learned to eat the pods before they opened up. They are delicious!!! Your shot is splendid. Love it!!!
