These trees were shot on the grounds of the monastery on Tuesday, November 10 at 3:45 p.m. - not sure what kind of tree it is - turns bright orange in the fall and turns a deep red in spring - Kindly Enjoy!!!
Laura, I've never seen a tree colored that fine in the Fall. For me an exceptional sight. This is the reason too, that I wasn't able to identify its kind.

Amazing find Laura. There's a tree near me that does the same thing in the Fall but not the spring. It's called Local Tree and it's in my gallery. I'm going to attempt to identify your tree. Stand by........ and it's gorgeous hanging over the water here. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like it could be a Japanese maple - they are deep red in the spring and do turn in the fall although this is bigger than most Japanese maples I've seen. Really nice capture.
