Laura, it's inevitable that even a tulip hasn't an everlasting life. It seems that this tulip is at its end of life. Before it's fading away further, It's like it uses this fact to express to us: "Maybe old, but the older, the finer."
Anyhow, an exceptional Foofy Friday (F²) composition/contribution.

I wish you a great weekend as well.

PS: I learned from my late wife that the lifespan of tulips in a vase can be extended by piercing the stem just below the flower with a pin or needle. It seems unbelievable, but give it a try, 😁 !
