As far inland as I went, just out from Landmannalaugar. A day of rest which ended up being a further 18k hiked or so. This was a shot set to self-timer just of me sitting on this bit of lava flow, dramatic skies and imposing views as a decent backdrop. I took the photo without me originally, but felt something more was needed as the foreground isn't a blinder, so thought I'd stick myself in, though generally people within landscape isn't something I like doing! Anyways, thought I'd get at least one photo from Iceland with me in it somewhere...
