Last one of my little gull pics :) After a couple of shots, he got a bit fed up and struck this pose. I think he thought that if he couldnt see me, I couldnt see him lol. Thank you for looking x

Judging from the bill, you owe him for posing. Another good one Jo. This was a nice series. You could have used another Gull and I would have never know. The all seem to resemble one another. Good post.

A little like a "head in the sand" idea? No look, no see? Perhaps he was just watching his other admirers heading for home with their slickers on and was thinking about going to shelter himself. Hope you didn't get rained on after doing such a great job on this series.

He's going all sulky on you now. It's his ball and he's not playing!! I have loved these gull shots MFJ, some of your best work.

I tried the same thing when I was in Conway Jo and eventually took this shot which is just on the wall at the side of Conway Bridge - is this the same spot I wonder? lol! Nice shot - I think they are used to the humans feeding them so allow you to get fairly close. :)

This shot clearly shows the identifying red spot on the Herring Gulls bill
Another good shot of this bird Jo, he's been an excellent model for you.
