I took this today on a walk around the Great Orme in Llandudno. And all the way round I was thinking of our very good friend LynEve as she has mentioned her fondness of the Orme before. This is taken through the window of a shelter that was dedicated to a young man called Blair Cow. Here is the dedication inside the wonderful shelter...

Im memory of Blair Cow who died by accident when he was 16, walking in the Welsh mountains he loved.

Then another stone tablet says.. He has gone ahead a little while and waits for us upon a stile

Then the next one says.. This shelter was built so that you too could know, this place where he grew up and knew so much happiness.

This is why I have put this in the places of worship gallery. I could put the pictures up of the plaques, but think I will post a couple from the view that you get from this shelter. I took this as a quirky picture ready framed for you.

Thank you all for looking and any comments, I do appreciate your ongoing support x

LE should really like this one BC. It is a peek to the outside world. Good work and the natural framing does look good.

Naturally I can't help but think of Play School, perhaps it's a tad bright but LynEve would love it. (o:

:) I lovwe the way you have taken this Jo - and I hope to see the rest of your Great Orme shots on here! The little peek makes the viewer want to see more.

The dedications are quite sad but what a lovely memorial to young Blair.

(Good timing Jo - it is four years ago today that we left Llandudno - lunch at Osborne House the day before - posh eh ? lol. Thanks for thinking of me cariad)
