The Blue Angels break out of formation at about 600 miles per hour! Their smoke is produced by pumping parafin based oil directly into the exhaust chambers of the aircraft.
What a great shot Dan. I love to watch them. You've really captured them nicely with beautiful blue sky just like them :) Thanks for sharing this today. Anita
Yeah I break out at about 600 too, no wait a minute maybe that's break up.LMAO Another fine image there Dan of an elite group of pilots. Good job my friend. Oh and I've seen them twice when they use to come to the old Chanute Air Force base here in Ill.
wow! those pilots have got nerves of steel!!! Can you just imagine being in the pilot seat and seeing the ground coming at you but at the same time, knowing you have to skill to control the plane !! - awesome!! well done capturing them Dan'l :)
A wonderful shot Dan. The stunt planes look awesome against the blue sky. I just can't imagine going 600 mph. This is amazing ... great job at capturing them in action.
600 miles an hour? Wonder how fast they drive on the highway after getting out of these LOL. I've got to hand it to them- they're good aren't they? Nice shot Dan. Hope you have more.
