Great fractal Lauren. I love the gradient you picked. Very bright and uplifting! hmm, I can't say that i remember those type of caps offhand though....
Great creation!! Carol
Hi Lauren, here we are, with another gorgeous combination of colors that take your breath away! The colors remind me of frostings on cookies, yummy! How you do this remains a mystery to me indeed! Where these colors actually, physically originate from will perhaps remain a mystery to me until I find time and a tutor! At any rate, Lauren, it is beautiful and I love it! Also the colors remind me of colored Easter eggs! Fun, Sincerely, Marilyn
This certainly is one of the proverbial ones that jumps out at you ... those intense neon colours on the right hand portion of the flame set with the muted sea greens as a backdrop, if you will, cannot ... cannot be passed over with ones eyes.
Love that.
There is some ... some loss as your eye searches out for more and is guided throughout the rest of the flame. Balance of composition is off somewhat in my mind ... not so much as far as the true element of composition is concerned ... but, as you compare the cleanliness of the right hand areas to that of the left, there is some ... some degradation in the flames' appearance.
Here, I am thinking that perhaps changing the gamma settings, or maybe the background colour might clean up some of the grain that starts ... starts to appear.
I am certainly no where near as accomplished with the software as you are obviously. However, I am aware of the frustrations in not being able to coerce compliance from a flame to be all that it is. And when there are boxes to be unpacked and and and ... well, some things take priority before one loses ones mind. :oP
I have to ... have to end on this note (just reread my out loud ramblings again :o( ), this is a welcomed addition to your fine galleries of work Lauren. To have been able to sit on the sidelines in the peanut gallery, and view your growth as an artist has been more than enjoyable. Leaps and bounds ... leaps and bounds. Reviewing your work, it does and doesn't amaze me that your creativity is coming to the forefront. You have a beautiful mind.
well… no… I don't remember those caps… quite probably because I wasn't born yet (nyah nyah) I do like your color palette & glossiness of this again. 8•) I might like to see the orange replaced with a neon purple or lime green or yellow, but hey… there's no accounting for taste, is there? LOL.
This wonderful image came up on the front page. I really liked it so had to investigate. It deserves far more than it received. It makes a lovely desktop. Excellent work.
