Farmington River, Connecticut, USA - a scenic river that winds through the countryside. In the spring, this river has white water that covers these rocks. Farther upstream held rocks that were water-worn to very unusual shapes. Here, the colors of autumn are in abundance. (I took photos today, as cold, rainy weather is forecast for the next three or four days, and the foliage will be past when the rain is over.) Enjoy!

I love the angle and the colors are really good. The shot up the stream makes for a great composition. A real dandy Thad.

That's a beauty of a fall shot, Thad. I think I would love this river, especially when you can get so close to the shoreline like this and those big boulders are present. I am sorry the rain is coming, but maybe they will be wrong. Peak is heading to Eastern CT and I was hoping to head down that way later this week. Oh well. At least you were able to get in some shots of really pretty landscapes before the color is all gone.

This is a very lovely shot. I especially love the red trees. Looks like you have been very actively going to different spots to capture the fall colour for us. Thanks for sharing!
