Juneau, Alaska, USA. This close up of part of the glacier face, in total it being one hundred and fifty feet tall and a mile wide can be put in perspective when you spot the boat with four people in it. Enjoy!

Unbelievable Thad. The boat and people gives this one proper perspective. I like the angle you chose and the composition.
Alaska is beautiful.

Even more impressive than the previous one (with the 'chopper'), Thad. This incredible scenery makes me silent!
Thanks for this wonderful post.

The boat was a bit easier to spot than the heli in your prior post but the size is all the more impressive.

Seems I am faving all of this series Thad. I like that you got the boat in it. It really gives us a great idea of the size of it all.

This is one time that keeping the tourists in the shot was imperative, Thad. Until I noticed the boat, this was your typical fabulous landscape. With the boat in the shot, the enormity of this glacier is really brought to light. As with all of your Alaska shots, this one is a beauty. There's nothing to critique and plenty to praise. A well deserved 9.478 out of 10.
