Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. The Blue Bell, located near the capitol building, was used for a number of purposes during the colonial era, first as a tavern, then a lodging house, store, gunsmith's shop, and a tenement. In disrepair, it was town down. Colonial Williamsburg reconstructed the building. Interestingly, it houses the heating plant for the nearby Capitol Building.

Thanks for the continuation of your excellent series Thad. I can't remember this one however. So your tour shows not only good memories for me, but new and interesting aspects as well.
Great that this one is reconstructed.

Another good one in your tour Thad.

Wow, such history and information. I'm so glad they rebuilt it, they've done an excellent job and you've captured it perfectly. Love its beautiful colours plus detail and that roofing is fabulous, never seen tiles like that.
