Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. This reconstructed Capitol Building is based on the design of the first one built in 1705. On one side was the meeting place for the House of Burgesses, the other for the Council and court, both chaired by the royal governor. The large trees were planted in 1934, when the reconstructed building was completed.

I love how the capitol building is framed with the trees, and I also love the dappled sunlight on the front of the building. Beautiful shot again, Thad.

Wowsie Thad, a Breath taking close up and really like all those wonderful trees framing the centre part of this gorgeous building highlighting the steeple and the US flag. Brilliant - right into my favs, also thanks for bringing back fun memories for me.
