Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. My apologies to Caedes friends for not responding to photos recently; in spite of being retired, I have been extremely busy. Several weeks ago, my wife and I, along with her brother and his wife, spent five days in the Bahamas, a nice change from the this year's relentless winter in New England. Eighty degree air and water temperatures were welcomed. Atlantis in the Bahamas has a wonderful array of marine life and gardens, in addition to an array of beaches , pools and water rides. This hibiscus, seen along one of he walkways, asked to have its portrait done. As flowers are apt to do, a few days later the bloom had moved away. Happy Foofy Friday!

Lovely capture Thad - I'm glad you got away from your winter for at least a few days - it was brutal out there this year. Since we retired my husband and I always say we don't know how we had time to work! LOL

That's why you should demand money for your services up front. A great close up on the hibiscus, Thad. Nice details and lovely colours in the photo.
