My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . What is this doing in the Lonely Images folder? Why haven't you gotten loads of comments? I love the way the loops and swirls of sand under the foreground water mimics the mountain shapes and slopes in the background. The color, composition, focus are all gorgeous. The only problem I see is the ratio. It's a bit squat for most monitors so I'm going to snitch a copy and crop some of the sky because I don;t want to lose any of that underwater view when I add this one to my hand-built screen saver, all involving water in some way. Thanks for submitting and sharing it. If I see it in the booth it's getting a high score from me, for sure.

I love that crystal clear water. Seeing the texture on the bottom adds allot of foreground interest and is really amazing to see. All those rocks out there are fascinating as well. Amazing and beautiful indeed!
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative.

Thanks...as for the ratio, it was a vertical panorama, as noted I wanted to get the interesting details of the water and still show the mountain lake scene.
I downloaded a copy of your largest size, cropped off about half the sky, leaving all of the underwater view, and it fits my monitor. Having less sky doesn't detract from it at all. In fact, it allows even that much more emphasis on the water. It's a beautiful shot. And to think I had to give away a free vacation to this spot about 20 years ago. Oy!

Love this shot buddy!! A beautiful place that fortunately I get to visit each year with just a 2-1/2 hour drive from Walnut Creek. Will be going there this weekend if things work out the way I want. Crisp and clean shot. Great post:)
A favourite for me :)
