The tour of my botanical gardens continues. There was a single shaft of sunlight illuminating this blossom as sunset neared. Shot with my Panasonic Lumix FX-20 camera. Optical zoom, no tripod. Critiques welcomed & encouraged ;=)

No critique needed!..just excellence in for a very lovely capture!..Muted tones of the background enabling the focus on the blossom!....

The lighting on the lily is really enhanced by the perspective of your shot. Wonderful comp and color. I love how the lily seems to be gently resting on the pad and how you caught the soft reflections. This is definitely a keeper, thanks!

Wowwy zowwy gal!! Lavish light playin' on the petals!! I might've cropped a wee bit to get rid of some of the upper portion. Sweet colorings and I luv the reflection!!

Stunning exposure, color and good composition. You must have been prone position to capture this one. K, here comes my evil twin lol. It appears you have a couple dead pixels in your camera. They all have em though. I see one red on the front petal and one blue to the back of the flower. Looking great Mrs. M:-)

Normally I'm not into flowers but I like this one. I would like to see frog enjoying peaceful pad, but all I have to do is imagine and he's there. Very relaxing scene which I like. Love the colors.

This is stunning from the lighting to the reflection, Mimi. Perfection it is. And that was my Yota impression. I'll bet you can cook, too -

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . wonderful indeed Mimi... a better shot would be with you almost all the way under water except your nose and your camera poking out and along comes a dragonfly to land on your nose, only to rest as you frame this flower...
