Today is Fat Tuesday and the last day of Carnevale. Costumes and masks will be put away for another year, as tomorrow marks the first day of Lent (Ash Wednesday) in the western Christian calendar. In Italy, we say Arrivederci - Till we see each other again.

Another captivating costume and I like the position of the hand as if pondering over something...and I am once again drawn to the dark seemingly vacant eyes...I find them so mysterious...a fabulous series, Doug...really enjoyed it.
