I'm not much of a Foofy 'Fotographer' however, I do like to contribute when something strikes my fancy. Sorry for not being knowledgeable in flower species as I don't know what these are. They look pretty good in full view. I would appreciate any critique or suggestions on how to improve on this image. As always, thanks for looking.

Doug, I wish I could tell you what they are, but I'm not sure either. I think you did good on this one, it has good detail, natural color tones, and well composed. =^..^=tigs♥

There is nothing to improve here Doug. The details are clear, photo has some depth and the foofies look unusual and lovely.

Yes, it is a thistle flower after it has gone to seed. Love the detail on these foofy's. Wonderful capture, Doug.

I think it was Bogie and Bacall's favorite flower. If they needed one another, all they had to do was "thistle." That's whistle with a lisp.
