This is a sculpture at the Skukuza Rest Camp (main camp of the Kruger National Park.) It is about 2m high and 3m in width. The faces are those of the founders of the Kruger Nationl Park and I've included some links with history about these three pioneers and the wonderful work they've done. From left to right is Harry Wolhuter , President Paul Kruger and James Stevenson-Hamilton . I am very proud to share this lovely Game Park, that is so part of our heritage in South Africa with you all. For the next few days..or maybe weeks.. We'll shower you with new images of the Kruger Park and the wonderful wildlife inside. Hope once again, you'll enjoy the journey through Africa while you listen to this lovely song by Helmut Lotti.

Your links provided us with a lot of information and 'Out of Africa' music Marietha. Very interesting image. I was somewhat surprised by reading both the old Dutch (Ons Grondleggers) and the English language (Our Founders). Great tribute anyhow. Thanks for this fine post.
Regards, Cornelius.
