Ah Yes ... the aftermath of a night out with with the Ganders and Drakes. The poor bird, rudely awakened by the deafening "thunder clap" of my shutter release ... now spots through bleary eyes the blinding lights of a school bus. The yellow monster disgorges from its innards a horde of 1st graders ... running, screaming, bags of breadcrumbs clutched in their hands, and all of them headed straight ... TOWARDS HIM! I thought to myself, "Good Luck Pal" and called it a day.

Don't you wish you could crane your neck way back like that? Look at the ladies that you could impress. Nice capture.

Goodness you do meet some interesting swans on your travels :) not for you a plain old swan merrily paddling its little feet as it glides through the water. :)
The clarity of this shot is wonderful and the expression on that face with the half closed eye is a geat capture.

Beautiful shot, John, and LOL at the narrative. At least he could swim away after having such a lovely photo taken. Good one!

I wonder, if he ever found his head again - but I really know that feeling. Great job done.
