I spotted this little lizard while chasing a butterfly all over the neighborhood. He was about 1 1/2 inches long. Never did get a shot of the butterfly.

Thanks Ed for providing us with another surprising image from your part of the world. Both beautiful and interesting.
PS: when I was a butterfly I would have disappeared as well with a lizard that near, lol.
Regards, Cornelius.

I had to put the size up to 2304x1728 to find him since he blends in with the bark so well. . He has got to be young since he is so thin and sleek instead of fat with dry skin like old timers,,,ha. I like his skin tone very much in this super close up Ed.

I think Diane is having fun at our expense Huck. lol What a great shot. Faved. It is like one of those pictures where it is hidden until you look at it just right. Super eye to locate this. Who was chasing the butterfly? You or the lizard.

Wow, you have good eyes I would have ran right past him! He really blends in well. I would have love to see you running around the neighborhood trying to get a shot of the butterfly. I can hear your neighbors now..."Poor Ed, you know he has never been the same......." you can fill in the rest with just about anything. LOL Wonderful capture! Now go and find that butterfly.
