A Great Egret that usually hangs around the other side of the Lake. He finally got close enough for me to get this shot. Thanks to all for comments

Patience is generally rewarding Huck and this shot proves that. Great shot of the Egret. I like the way he is looking over his shoulder. You must have had the Ruger with you.

Reminds me of our local egrets... they are always "over there" or I see them out of the corner of my eye in blazing sunlight! : ) I like his pose, he looks relaxed yet alert.
