As I was enjoying the peace of the evening, I was totally unaware my brother's house was being destroyed by fire and he was suffering 2nd degree burns from trying to extinguish the flames. My peace from the lake was short-lived, but my gratitude for his relatively safe exit from the flames....along with his dogs.......will forever be a reason for praise. If you are so inclined to pray, please pray for him as he rebuilds his life from the rubble. Blessings to all my Caedes friends......

I agree that your brothers safe exit is something to be so thankful for, hope things go as well as they can for him. Your photo is mesmerizing, and provides one a feeling of calm and pure joy with this impressive capture of nature's beauty. This is a favorite for me, bravo on this shot!

This is a beautiful slice of peaceful scenery. So sorry to hear about the fire. My family has been forever touched by that sort of tragedy. My daughter and her two sons were involved in a house fire. The eldest grandson passed away and it was terribly serious for my daughter and younger grandson. I will pray for your family Rita.
