Yeah, I also read that thread =) Kind of looks like twin aliens - the metallic look is beautiful! Nice job with the purple also!

Yes, this turned out great Nigel! Nicely 'centered' too, lol! The detail in the rings and the center is beautiful. I really really like the style of your last few uploads, and hope to see some more like this. This is going in my favourites.

Fantastic work! Really comical - and that's pretty unusual for a fractal.
A high quality print of this should be issued to every child whose parents are or have gone through a messy divorce, acrimonious break-up or constantly argue with each other or worse. Mounted on a strong frame (no glass, please) and attached to a long pole, it could then be waved at a safe distance during those difficult moments. Suggest introduction via Sesame Street as I know they haven't been able to find a way to explain even non-messy parental break-ups.
No idea what the thread was about. Hoping, therefore, that I have not just put my foot (or mouth) in it... Apologies in advance if so.
