The Dixie Queen is a paddle steamer moored outside Butler's Wharf, which I posted a picture of earlier. The towers on the left of the picture are Canary Wharf. I was up before dawn to get this! The sun's been out the last couple of days so I'm posting again. It's been very grey here for weeks!!

The looks of the sky alone makes this a gorgeous shot. The skyline, water and boats are just added attractions to make it even better. Really nice, Nigel.

What a beautiful morning, your early rising was certainly not wasted! Love how the light skips over the Dixie Queen.

Nigel, I'd love to look into your tool box one day and see what you have to be able to produce these kinds of results. I'm very impressed with your artistic touch...great job, my friend.

I think your were just getting in from a night on the town my friend. It doesn't matter because this is a stunning shot. I was curious about the name of the ship so I googled it and this is what I found. I love the sky. The whole scene is so well presented. Cows should love it. Have a good day Sir Nigel.

Love the mood of this one Nigel - there you go getting up early again and capturing those moments when we are all snoozing away! lol! I must be more disciplined and do the same. The composition is excellent as are the colours and tones.

As Patti above said, nice colours and tones going on here. I like the comp on this one too, and like the way the building's roofs on the left slope into the picture, and the way the buildings kind of balance the boats in this shot. Excellent overall picture Nigel.
