Just an old country road, in the Great Smoky Mountains. I took this photo almost two years ago. I never put it on Caedes, because It need some work done to it, and I didn't have the computer or GIMP to help me at the time. It was real hot that day almost hit 100 degrees, so the shade looked real good.

Gorgeous and I would want to take my time here, I'd probably walk it rather than drive. Such a pleasant photo. Super.

A beautiful road to travel, Laura. That's all anyone can expect. lol Such a pretty shot. I'd head for the shadows too at 100 degrees. I don't think we'll be seeing that in NE this year.

You probably said that a lot as a young girl while traveling Laura. I suspect you own children have repaid you in kind. Bends in roads are always great in a photo. Like life, we never know what is around the bend. Unless we have been there before of course. Beautiful scene. Time was right to post.

I have not been to the Smokey Mountains since 1971. I would love to go back. The lighting, and the colors in this are beautiful. Very nice.

I wish we had trees like this where I lived! This picture sure does make the shade look very inviting. I like this shot a lot.
