Near the outskirts of the Small Magellanic Cloud, lies the 5 million year old star cluster NGC 602. At the estimated distance of the Small Magellanic Cloud, the picture spans about 200 light-years, but an assortment of background galaxies are also visible in the sharp Hubble view. The background galaxies are hundreds of millions of light-years or more beyond the nebula.

Hey English boy. This is amazing. You realize how small you really are when you see such amazing images of the universe. Wonderous, isn't it?

That camera only cost a few billion dollars. You should be able to afford it in a couple of hundred years. :-) I love going to Nasa for shots.

Simply amazing.

It's things like this that make you realize how insignificant you ought to be in the grand scheme of things, and just how big God is.
I mean think of it. A God who could create everything in a universe so large we haven't seen the ends of it, down to the last piece of galactic dust, simply by speaking. A God bigger than all of it put together, powerful beyond all imagining, and he cares what happens to me. Cared enough to die in my place.
What an amazing thought.

Praise God for his amazing and wonderful Creation. What majesty.

And thank you Phil, for giving us the opportunity to glimpse this piece of his creation.
