Here's another shot of the streets of Chicago showing the people doing whatever people do on the streets. (It may be a little dark)

I like the builings in this shot Steve, wish the crowd wasn't there though. Although I'm a country boy, I sure wouldn't mind visiting Chicago again when most of the people there went on vacation...lol. It is a beautiful place to visit, I've been there twice going through out west. Nice shot on the buildings again. Thanks for posting!

Nice shot... but it reminds me of how much I don't miss the city. Just viewing it made me feel a bit trapped and claustrophobic. But that's my problem... not anything wrong with the image. ;) Good shot!

Hi Steve. Nice shot of the buildings. It's dark because the brightest area, is where the meter read most of the exposure.
You can solve this by taking the meter reading off the people, holding your shutter release half way down. Then just tilt up a bit, compose, and press the button the rest of the way down.

Nice shot, Steve. It's what they do in Chicago - scurry around :) Next time you go there, go to the top of the Hancock and the Sear's tower - amazing scenes. I used to live there but like, Smoosh, I don't miss the crowds, only the museums and arts. Thanks for letting me walk down memory lane. (Your other photo was probably the Hancock Bldg; the Sear's tower is taller and white.) - Patty

This image is very interesting. Those big dark buildings and the angle of the shot makes it look oppressive and claustrophobic. The harried look on the grey haired woman's face only accentuates this effect. I like how I am able the see all the details so clearly. Great work.

Nice shot. That woman doesn't look too happy.

Chicago is the only city in the US I have visited Steve and I remember clearly the hussle and bussle of the main streets - I felt like I was on a film set! :) It felt quite different from a street in the UK. You have captured that feeling in this photograph. :) Patti

I like this best out of all your chicago shots. I like shots with people in them a lot. There are some cool colors in here and it gives the inpression of what daily street life would be like there. Kudos...............Amaris
