I'm very happy to bring you in a very special place: the Maria Laach Abbey.
This abbey is one of the most beautiful rhenan-roman buildings in Europe (Germany, near Cologne-Köln).
We were lucky enough to attend a marriage the day of our visit. Without tripod and without flash (I didn't want to disturb...), I chose to rest against a column and to work with a long pose (± 1,5 sec at 800 iso)
The wedding dress is a little fuzzy, but that adds to general ambiance.
Hope you like it :-)

The quality and colors of the 2 pictures are really exceptional, and their twinning gives us a "fairy tale book" look. Thanks Pierre. By the way Germany is a really beautiful country. I also appreciated your delicacy in not disturbing the ceremony.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Wow Pierre, I love the split screen presentation of the inside and the outside of the Abbey! The blur of the wedding dress adds a fairy tale like effect to the entire image. I imagine this is quite a place to see in person...and to be married there..oh wow!
You were wonderfully gracious in not using a flash. If only everyone were that courteous. Thank you for sharing this magical place as well as magical day with me ;=)
