Wonderful compostion John, with that late afternoon sunshine on the houses. A beautiful, moody, and nostalgic image. Seen and done very well, my friend. Regards, Cornelius.
Hi John, I love that early and late light of day, it makes a picture friendly and warm. Even those old ships in the city have something special. good work! grtz japio
the composition is fantastic here, i really like it, it pulls you in. however, it is rather underexposed and some editing could pull out more of that detail from the deep shadows.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
So many things I love about this shot! The warm sunlight hitting the sides of the waterfront homes....the still calm waters with pretty reflections....the boats all lined up for the night with their masts pointing into a lovely sunset sky ~Kim
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
