Rob, every injury has to be taken serious, but if I had the choice I would 'prefer' (please notice the quotes) a bleeding nose rather than a wound on the place shown by your artwork. I suppose he's in a hospital now. If so, send him a flower for a soon recovery, lol.
You know that I just was kidding. Seriously now: your creativity has no limits. Every time you surprise us with an original and fascinating creation. Kudos again!

Looks like he been taking part in a street protest and Rob the detail in this art is superb with lovely contour to the face and love the wood like lines running through is face .Plus I like how he as this look as if to say he regrets and feels sad about what as took place.Well done to a very nice piece of art and love the colour tones too.
I enjoy how your manip's spur our imaginations Rob. They all mean something different to each of us. This one, I will wait for the results of the autopsy, before I decide what happened.
I hope the subject's abilities aren't compromised due to possible injury which might affect intuition, thoughtfulness and subjective thinking. Excellent as per usual, Rob!!!:-):-):-)!!
