I tried coloring an old photo of my grandfather yesterday Rob, and it sure didn't turn out as good as this one. I had some trouble with the skin tones. I like how you took care of all the details like the hole in his sweater.
You are a master at this. Faved!

Rob, I was smiling about the honest comment of our friend Tick. The way how you convert old B&W images into 'nowadays' colored ones looks simple, that it isn't not. Therefore I join me in the above comments of Sandi and Tick, telling us that you're a master in this branch of art.
This work proofs this again and again! Kudos, 👍 !

Maybe a little too pretty for that coal mining job he dressed up to interview for. Nevertheless, a real shot-across-the-bow to the other miners who weren't up to date on that summer's fashion trends. And if there's one thing it was known for, Appalachia meant snappy dressers.

Not to pass judgement, but he does have a bit of an aire that he wasn't made for the mines or lumber mills. All the people you have profiled have come and gone many years ago. It is interesting to ponder what life they lead.
