This photo actually has two faces: on the one hand the pitiful conditions in which one had to live and on the other hand the love and affection of this father. Growing up as a baby in such circumstances is, despite father's love and affection, not an enviable start to an early life.
As usual, your perfect way of coloring is not to embellish the whole thing, but to accentuate the raw reality.

Great coloring once again Rob. Just the right amount.
He looks like a migrant worker who is just trying to support his family. The boots drying on the bench above the washtub are quite symbolic.
