Rob, during my former career I have visited San Thomas on the U.S. Virgin Islands several times. Today it's a popular holiday resort. The wealthy holidaymakers can afford luxurious accommodation there. The poor indigenous people often still live in the poor houses like the one who's depicted. The contrasts are still big.
I have looked again with admiration at your way of colorization. As true to life as if the photo was taken recently. Again pure craftsmanship, my friend!
