a beach in dennis, massachusetts, on cape cod bay... a chilly november wind blew across the wide expanse of beach and I was glad I was wearing my windbreaker...

Even in this chillier weather, your beach is captivating. I can imagine this bay beach as an island beach and I have been cast away on it. The stones have been placed to attract a half-hearted rescue.
Great photo with good balance and color. It does look cold. I was wondering what rocks were doing placed there. It's hard for me to imagine how this will help erosion, it that's what they're for. Good one Mary.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
I once went to the beach...at Hampton..in January around my birthday time. I was hoping to see what it looked like when there was snow on the ground but no such luck!! Lovely contrasting colors between the warm rocks - left middle of the upload and the general sense of cold blue.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
