the deep rich colours of november oak leaves become intensified by the setting sun and their own reflections... in the harwich conservation area on cape cod...
My, my what a celebration of color. The sun light tipped tree tops are reflected so well in the water. So much to look at and obsorb. The Cape is certainly beautiful this time of the year.
I think Crayola needs to contact you for some new colors. Just awesome Mary. Your November is better than our October, so I'll see you December and raise you one January. Sorry, got carried away. Love everything about this one. Excellent.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Another gorgeous image Mary. It is as though someone has washed their paintbrushes in the water. Wonderful mix of colours in this reflection. Great work.
Hey Mary,
There seems to be a slight lack of contrast, which I like a lot in this image, usually I'd prefer screaming colors, but here it suits perfectly,
Great shot,
