Apop. Photofiltre. If the cooler weather hasn't put a little rosy in your cheeks yet, I hope this does! ;) Many thanks for viewing, and please do comment. ~lori

A beautiful design Lori ... it does look like a rose. I love the vibrant red color I'm hoping things warm up again ... I'm not ready for rosy cheeks yet. This looks wonderful on the desktop. Excellent work.

Cerises au Vin Rouge (Parfait Macaroons in Cherry Red Wine). I does look a lot like just that - good title. However I had to Google it to find out what the translation is, not being very fluent (yeah, right!) in French. Either you are fluent in French or the source of your knowledge comes from your love of cooking. Either way it's a very warming and friendly piece. My first thought upon opening it though, was how it looked a lot like red Waterford crystal. My mother used to have a Waterford bowl with a scalloped top that looked like this. Very nice.
