We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Incredibly vibrant colours Lori. Wonderfully balanced contrasts.

Your flame really 'pops' ... and then some.

I particularly enjoy the 'ribbings' on the outer portions.

Nicely ... done.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)

Going back through your gallery, enjoying the variety, I realized I'd missed this one. I'm a fan of contrasts, in content as well as imagery, and I just put this one into my favorites. The contrast between those perfectly spaced delicate white lines, looking organically mechanical (is that possible?), and the very strong and fluid gold and green curves is superb. Tell you what, Lori, let's pretend we're in Canada and that 55 c-index up there actually translates into a more appropriate 88. Yeah, that's the ticket, yeah.
