My third and final entry for Dylan's Apophysis Contest . No post-work, plugins, or scripts were used, other than the script provided. Thanks for looking my friends! Comments are most welcome. Lori
The monochromatic gray is Kansas and the wild colors are Munchkintown in OZ. The only thing missing is Dorothy's house. The two textures you've got going on here really help to create a feeling of distance. The bolder colors and sharper lines in the center and lower right of center appear to be higher than the source at bottom-center. It's as though the viewer is much higher in the sky watching a Tron-like tornado spinning by below (Disney is making a sequel to Tron, btw). Another very unique image from our Chicago friend.
Lori, What else can one say? Truly amazing work and love the choice of colors. Excellent flow to this beauty. Faved and If I vote on it a 10! =^..^=sandi
I like that one Lori, maybe a neon green though.....that green just doesn't do it justice IMO. Lotsa action......don't want Dorothy to see that.........she's got a thing about twisters you know. LOL
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to OZ and the Emerald City. A very nice place to live. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
As I look at this, I find the red so very exciting in a setting of such drama! It gives the whole creation such drama and movement. The colours are so perfect. What a grand creation. V
I mean, how much better can you get than this? One again I'm stunned by your artistic talents. It's almost like I'm asking you to do a bad image so I can do an actual critique. I'd have to be an idiot not to fave it.
