Finding old negatives from Pilot training in 1973. I was excited to find the T-38 ones in good condition, with a lot of dust removal and color fading.

Whoah...makes me think of the guys I sometimes see on the Interstate, driving along at 70 mph while combing their hair with both hands or drinking from a can(?) with their left hand while their right arm is stretched across the seat back -- what the heck are they using to steer? Their knees? A highly-trained Shih Tzu? Could you take your hands off the controls of your T-38 long enough to take this shot or did you do it one-handed? Nice shot and still pretty clear despite the normal loss of clarity that happens during digital translation of negatives. I know, 'cause I've tried it and mine don't turn out this well.

I better explain. It was my last formation flight and I wanted to take some photos. My instructor flew from the back seat for most of the flight. We were not that good to take our hands or eyes off the other three aircraft.
