Dustycat and I went for a very nice nature walk and came across this huge family. Neither of us have seen such a big family. I count 27! It was very windy so did not have my zoom lens. I used my 18-55 wide angle and then cropped the image and used my favorite plug in - fotoframe. I'm going to try to go back for some closeups. No cloning done here this is the actual image. I have learned that these geese here are probably like babysitters. sandi ♪ ♫

What a lovely crew! Maybe those are two mommas. I like the way you framed this on the horizontal to emphasize the subject. Nice clear image too.

That had to be one big nest. She probably got egg sores. I bet the cool water feels soothing. I believe it is a duck train. Excellent shot Tigz. You do such nice work. Have a good week.

What a bumper crop of goslings! I wonder if some other geese layed eggs in the same nest? Never seen that many with just two adults with them. Great shot!

Oh my, if only you would have had a telephoto with you...BUT....you may not have been able to get them all on. The ideal situation would be to be able to be close to them with a wide angle.
At any rate, go back and see if you can photo this bunch again. I have NEVER seen that many babies in one family. I am wondering if they have adopted another couple's babies who were killed? Research this on the internet and see if it is possible for one Mom and Dad to have 27 babies.

Wow I counted 27 Goslings Sandi !!
Boy is that a lot I doubt they all make the full trip mind. :o( Even with a 300mm zoom you still couldn't do them full justice, stitching a pana together maybe.
Great photo I wonder if there two nests here !!
