My contribution for foofy friday. A hand held shot from the botanical gardens a few weeks ago.

Postwork for this one was done mainly in Photofiltre. Used my 17/70 sigma lens and the camera setting was on macro.

Not all that long ago my camera and zoom lens was set up on my tripod and they took a tumble on pavement. Camera is fine but the zoom is in the shop! TGIF!

Thanks in advance for any comments and advice.

Please view full screen, thank you. =^..^= Sandi

What a terrible thing to have happen. It's enough to make a grown man cry. LOL. This foofy picture is extraordinarily beautiful. Wonderful composition and color. Well done, Sandi.

Nice work here Sandi. I remember several years ago, I had my Pentax all set up for a nature shot near the guardrail by an overlook at the local national park. Some kids were goofing around with feeding the birds flying around. Kids and bird hit me from behind. I caught the guardrail but my tripod and camera did not, they flipped up and over. I watched it all bounce down the rocks.....

Colors are very Christmasy if there is such a word Tigz. The soft focus being right in the center detracts me. The rest is so clear and sharp. Nice post.

Hey nice foofy!! I love the bright colours. I will let everyone in one a huge secret I do 99% of my photograpy, hand held. I did buy a very expensive tripod and never seem to have the time to set it up. LOL. Lyn.

Is there a touch of Orton here I wonder or is the lovely softness down to the editing programme you used? Either way I like the colours and gentleness of this one, and the deep green leaves tone down the brighter shades well. I wish the zoom lens a speedy recovery!
