Fine capture and presentation here Sandi. Sometimes I wonder if they are confidence decoys the duck hunters use. They stand there so still for such a long time.

Such a fine capture, Sandi! Hand held doesn't seem to be a problem for you. Windy isn't always good, but the results are great and the colors are sensational. Wish I could find a water bird to shoot. Maybe next week at the seashore. lol

Looks like this heron found the perfect fishing spot. The wave motion of the lake adds alot to the image as well as the water spray. Sandi, you did an excellent job capturing this one.
