This is my rework of my original posting. From the comments on this reworked image done by gaeljet2, I thought I would share this one again only this time it is not as dark as the original one I posted.

Gaeljet2 reworked image had some HDR treatment, and this one does not.

Taken at Bonneyville Mill County Park, I was standing in front of the working mill, looking outward. The Dahlia trial gardens are just to the left and back of the image, but out of sight. :)

I appreciate the honest comments, as that is how I learn. Thank you in advance.

I like this one a lot too Sandi. The light/shadow play is very pleasant and so is the composition and reflections.

It is a matter of taste, but my humble opinion, I think your image has a more calm and harmonious charisma.
Excellent reworking of your image Sandi.

gaeljet is one of the best there is with hdr and I love his own original work. Shadowed Reflections is your work, your eye, your finger on the button, your composition. Without question, I prefer your work on your work versus anyone else's work on your work. And, as I have been for several years, I am a big tigger3 fan.

Yours has a more natural look, especially the sky. Very nice.

I think they both have good qualities about them. I don't think there is a lot of difference other than the software and processes used. The sky seems a little too bright here, but that is always a tricky thing when dealing with shadows.

Not every photo is a candidate for FDR Tigz. I like the true colors of this one better. I like your humbleness as well.
Lot to be said for that.

My comment on this one could be the same as I gave on Gael's rework Sandi.
Every rework gives different outcomes, and it depends on someones taste which one is preferred.

In my opinion, they are both excellent for different reasons. Again, I had not had the opportunity to see the original, but as mentioned above, I like the natural colours here. Where as gaeljet2's image, I enjoyed the heightened lighting, darker sky and cloud formations. Both emit different moods and I think it's just a matter of opinion. Personally, I prefer natural colours over HDR, so I surprised myself to taking a liking to gaeljet2's rework at all. Well done my friend!
