I decided to remove my "Swoosh" image, as it really was not good enough.
I'm offering this one as a replacement. From my nature walk last weekend.
To my friends that had already commented on the other one, I'm sorry but I do appreciate your comments on that one, and also to the mods I want to extend my thanks for their time they put into this site.
Thank you in advance for your comments, and hope you enjoy this Autumn image.

Lovely, placid, Autumn, river scene (just how many adjectives can I get into one sentence?)Sandi. We're expecting quite strong winds in the next few days which should bring down what leaves that are still standing.

The sloughs make just a great area for photos Tigz. Great colors and the wildlife love areas like this. So do I and I'm pretty tame these days. Wonderful work.

The trees have red, green, yellow colors. Very good composed with the main subject, the big tree, in this position.. great depth! Love it.. Mich

I don't recall your 'swoosh' image Sandi but I respect your judgment. I love how you get your water so dark, it sets off the autumn colours perfectly. This one is painterly and beautifully done.
