Shot with the sony HX 100V camera, which I have decided to return tomorrow, why? I decided there really was no sense in using hard earned dollars, on a camera less than the DSLR's. It had a powerful zoom, but details especially in the eye's was lost on the bird captures, and just some other things that are not up to par with what I'm used to.

I have the Canon T3i EOS 600D camara ordered, and my len's can be used on that model.

Thanks for your comments, they are most appreciated.

I know you'll like the new Canon, Sandi. I know what you mean about loss of detail with a bridge camera. I think they are all like that. I now mine is. Still, this is a pretty good shot.
Very pretty.

That is why I bought the Canon A31000 IS for around a $100 Tigz. When I just want something to take along just in case I run across something when I am not really on a photo shoot, it serves the purpose.
This looks good and I am going to read some reviews on you new camera you have ordered. I am sure you will be more happy.

A great shot by the way.

The colour, detail and lighting looks great on that beautiful Flower image, Sandi. A bridge camera is kinda nice to have when you don't want to carry 50 Lbs. of camera equipment around.

A lot of these 'super' zoom cameras have noise problems!...If you need quality, then you have to shell out the cash!...Good choice changing the Sony darlin'...At least this Sony done a great job on this post!..

The clematis is already beautiful, but the well balanced lighting is the ice on the cake this time. Wonderful image, Sandi.
Regards, Cornelius.

PS: Don't know when it will be deliverd, but I'm curious for your first results with the Canon T3i EOS 600D.

Very nice close-up, Sandi. But I think, this result is not from camera, this is your skill and photograpy. IMHO right desicion to return that Sony and buy a better DSLR. The weight and bulkiness of equipment is second to a good photographer. Waiting for your first post by your new shiny camera.
