A blowfly I captured at the dahlia trial gardens yesterday. I used a macro tube with the canon 70-200mm f/4L lens, hand held. Kind of creepy I think, but I was trying out those macro tubes again, and anything was game! Lol!

This is one amazing shot. Maybe the best macro I've seen on Caedes since David (zunazet) did his shot of the mosquito larvae. Beautiful work in all respects. Especially good for an octogenarian. Faves from me.
