A capture from earlier in the year, the gardens in town, had lots of squirrels while they were feeling romantic, and were not too bothered by the lady with the camera. Working overtime still, but I'm keeping up with my commenting! :)

His coloring is beautiful Sandi. I had an albino squirrel last year, Havnt seen him this year to take a pik though.

Ofcourse the dark parts could be a bit lighter but what a sweety! Maybe a 'fill in' flash would be an option next time to keep the balance with the background. But a photo I enjoy my friend! Mich

Super shot of this silly black squirrel, Tigs. I don't have any black ones in my yard, but the gray ones are digging holes in my lawn to bury their nuts for winter and the chipmunks are creating a disturbance over it. lol

First of all before I forget to say it, this is yet another wonderfully executed close up.
Also I have to protest your photo on a sociological level. As a card carrying member of the Ku Klux Klan and the American Nazi Party, I think you are posting too many shots of these dark brown squirrels.
I don't work per se and have 24 comments yet to write. Not sure how you manage to keep up at all. I do keep myself quite occupied during the day. I swim 2 hours a day and go for at least two walks with Ollie every day. I always have my camera with me. With all of the cross burnings and other related social events, most evening are booked.
I still don't have my new lens although it's been shipped. I'm headed to Pismo Beach this weekend and was hoping to get a zillion ocean shots.
