Another capture from the Calendar gardens.

Thanks for commenting, and I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Today I'm going with my girlfriend to see Larry Gatlin, some of you might remember the Gatlin Brothers. Then tonight my daughter who is on shutdown at her workplace for two weeks, will be staying with mom, and I get to go home overnight. After 6 weeks it will feel kind of strange, but nice. All the animals including Harry won't now how to act. I have heard that a certain cat, and dog have taken over my spot in bed. Elbow room please!! :)

Lovely dahlia well captured in good lighting Sandi. As for your pets the reactions can vary from a surprised look then happy recognition - also the cats can sulk to show their disapproval because you left them alone.

Lol! I know what you mean Raj, though I have been able to go home during my days off when Mary comes over, just this time I will be there overnight. I always go around the house and say hi to all of the critters, and they usually end up back at my puter while I'm working on my pics. :))

This nice photo has very interesting composition. The heading of the flower is intriguing. It heads either to lower left or upper right. Nice work, my friend.

All the gold isn't in California, Tigz. Some of it is in this flower. Enjoy Larry Gatlin. He is a great singer.
It looks like a sunflower watching the earth rotate.
Glad you are getting some "me" time.

A Lovely bloom, Sandi. One f/stop smaller and you'd have had all the yellow sharp, without affecting either fore and background.
Have a nice weekend break.
